Fill applications without retyping anything

Most of what we find for you is on an employer’s own portal, so there is a form only you can submit. The JobHunt Helper fills your name, contact details and links, attaches your CV, shows you exactly what it filled — and never submits anything for you.

1. Install it

It installs from a folder. Takes about a minute, and Chrome will keep it until you remove it.

Download the extension

Unzip the file you just downloaded.
Open chrome://extensions.
Turn on Developer mode, top right.
Press Load unpacked and choose the unzipped folder.
Pin the puzzle-piece icon so the panel is one click away.

Works in Chrome, Edge, Brave and Arc. Firefox and Safari are not supported yet.

2. Connect it

Open the side panel and press Sign in with Google — the same account you use here. If that is unavailable, use a pairing code instead:

What it fills, and what it will not

Name, email, phone, location, current employer, LinkedIn and GitHub, plus your CV. On Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby.

It leaves anything that is not ours to answer — work authorisation, sponsorship, salary or CTC, notice period, and every question specific to that posting — empty, and shows you each one with the reason. There is no “best guess” setting, because a stored answer to a legal question goes stale silently and would be submitted under your name.

It never presses submit. Every one of these forms has a bot check, and a bot check is the employer asking for a person — you are already there.

It is still in testing

This is an early build and we would rather you knew that than found out. It has been tested against real Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby forms, but an employer can change a form at any time.

Check what it filled before you submit. The panel lists every field it touched. If something looks wrong, tell us what the posting was and we will fix the form it came from.

Sending Pause everything Stops application emails and form submissions. Nothing is sent while this is on, including anything already approved and waiting. Your profile, matches and settings are untouched, and turning it off resumes where you left off.

AutonomousMatches are applied to automatically, within every cap below. Hands-off. Review firstDrafts wait here for you to read and approve. Nothing sends on its own.

Check for new matches every Match threshold Higher is stricter. 30 is deliberately tight — lower it to widen the funnel.

What the rewrite does

Put the skills a posting asks for first, and leave out ones it has no use for
Lead with the achievements most relevant to that job
Order your roles by relevance rather than only by date
Rewrite your summary line using facts already in your profile

What it will never do

Add a skill, tool or technology you did not list
Change an employer, job title, date range or location
Reword, merge or invent an achievement — your bullets are sent exactly as you wrote them
Touch your education
State a number you did not — not your years of experience, not a metric

Every rewrite is checked against your profile before it is attached. If anything does not trace back to something you wrote, the tailoring is thrown away and your normal resume is sent instead.

Every question costs a fraction of a cent to answer, and JobHunt covers two or three of them a month for you — enough to try it on your own data and see whether the answers are worth having. It is not meant to be enough to rely on.

OpenRouter gives every new account a little free credit and you top it up yourself. On the authorisation screen you can set a credit limit for the key it creates, which caps what JobHunt is ever able to spend of yours — worth doing, and you can change or revoke it at openrouter.ai at any time.

A ChatGPT Plus or Gemini subscription cannot be used here — neither company allows an app to spend one on your behalf, whatever the app.
