JobHunt is a free tool by ULYX. Using it means you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. The general ULYX terms also apply; where this page is more specific, this page wins.

1. What the service does

JobHunt collects job postings from public feeds and employer career APIs that permit automated access, scores them against the profile you provide, drafts an application, and sends it. There are two ways it can be sent, and the difference matters:

• By email, from your own Gmail account through Google's Gmail API, where the posting publishes an address to apply to. This is the only way JobHunt applies on your behalf.

Everything else is queued for you to submit yourself, with a link to the posting. JobHunt used to fill in one employer system's application form directly; that was withdrawn on 15 August 2026 and nothing is submitted to an employer's own form any more.

Collection runs on our servers and nothing runs on your machine. JobHunt never signs in to a job site as you and holds no credentials for any site except the Gmail sending permission you granted. It identifies itself honestly to every server it contacts, and does not attempt to work around a site that declines to serve it.

2. Eligibility and your account

• You must be at least 16 and legally able to enter this agreement.
• You connect your own Google account. Do not connect an account you are not entitled to send mail from.
• You are responsible for what is sent from your account through the service.

3. How applications are sent

You choose how JobHunt applies, during setup. After your CV is read, and before you reach your matches, you are asked what should happen when a match is found. Nothing is preselected and you cannot continue without answering. We recommend auto mode, described below, and either answer is a normal one.

In review mode, matches wait as drafts and nothing is sent until you press Approve on that specific application.

If you never answer — you close the tab during setup, or your account was created before 15 August 2026 without being asked — your account is in review mode and sends nothing until you choose otherwise.

In auto mode, which is what the product is for, JobHunt sends applications from your Gmail without asking you first, within the caps in section 4. Choosing it during setup, or turning it on later in Settings, is you authorising that; you can turn it off, or pause sending outright, at any time.

If you created an account before 9 August 2026, it was set to auto mode by default and has been left that way. Your dashboard shows which mode you are in, at the top of every page.

Either way the applications are sent as your own communications and you are responsible for them. Drafts are generated automatically and can contain errors - a wrong company name, a mismatched role, an inappropriate recipient. If that matters to you, use review mode.

Every application carries two lines saying it was sent with JobHunt and giving the recipient a link to stop receiving them. This is not optional and cannot be switched off. It is what makes the opt-out in section 5 mean anything: a recruiter cannot ask a service to stop if they cannot tell a service is involved.

3a. What this can cost you

Applications are sent from your mailbox, on your Google account, so the consequences of them land on you rather than on us. Stated plainly, because it is the most important thing on this page:

• Google's terms prohibit using Gmail to send unsolicited bulk mail. We keep volumes far below Gmail's limits and cap how often any one company or mailbox can be written to, but we cannot guarantee how Google will classify it. In the worst case an account can be restricted or suspended.
• Applications that bounce, or that recipients report as spam, damage your address's sending reputation - which is the same address you use for everything else.
• If you connect a work or university Google account, the applications are visible to whoever administers that domain, and they spend a sending reputation shared with your colleagues. We warn you in the dashboard when we detect this. Use a personal account.

If any of that is unacceptable to you, this is the wrong tool, and we would rather say so here than after the fact.

4. Sending limits

These caps exist to protect recipients, your Gmail account, and the service's ability to deliver mail at all. They are enforced when a message is queued and again when it is sent:

• 20 applications per day per user.
• 2 applications per company per day per user.
• 6 applications per company per calendar month per user. Two a day for a month is sixty applications to one employer, and each one of those is individually inside every daily cap above.
• 8 applications per company per day across every user of the service, combined.
• 3 applications per mailbox per day across every user, combined. Several unrelated employers can share one person's inbox, and it is the person - not the company - who experiences the morning.

The first two you may lower. You may not raise any of them, and the last three are not adjustable by anyone. Attempting to circumvent them - multiple accounts, automation against our API - is a breach of these terms.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use JobHunt to:

• send spam, bulk unsolicited mail, marketing, or anything that is not a genuine job application;
• misrepresent who you are, your experience, your qualifications, or your right to work;
• harass a company or a person, or contact anyone who has asked you to stop;
• mail addresses you have no legitimate reason to contact, including abuse, security, or fraud-reporting inboxes;
• contact anyone who has used the link in an application to ask us to stop. We enforce this ourselves: that address goes onto a list checked before every send, for every user of the service;
• breach the terms of service of Google or of any job board;
• scrape, crawl, or automate interactions with job sites through the service, or modify it to do so;
• attack, overload, or attempt unauthorised access to our systems.

We may suspend or terminate access for any of the above, without notice where other people are being harmed.

6. Google account access

The service uses the gmail.send scope and basic identity scopes, nothing more. It cannot read, list, or delete your mail. Your use of Google services remains subject to Google's own terms. You can revoke our access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions; doing so stops all sending immediately and may leave queued applications unsent.

Google may change, restrict, or withdraw API access at any time. If that happens, parts of the service may stop working through no fault of ours.

7. Your content

Your resume, profile, and drafts remain yours. You grant us only the narrow, revocable licence needed to store and process them to run the service for you. We do not use them for advertising and do not use them to train machine-learning models. You confirm you have the right to the content you upload.

8. The shared job pool

Collected postings go into one pool shared by all users, so the same posting is not processed repeatedly. Postings describe employers and vacancies only; nothing identifying you is attached to them.

9. Availability

The service is free and offered without any uptime commitment. We may change, suspend, or discontinue it, and we may impose additional limits to keep it running. If we retire it, we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

10. No warranty

JobHunt is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that drafts will be accurate or appropriate, that mail will be delivered, that matches will be relevant, or that using the service will get you a job, an interview, or a reply.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ULYX and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for lost opportunities, lost employment prospects, reputational harm, or damage arising from a message you approved. Because the service is free, total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to INR 1,000. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Termination

Stop whenever you like: revoke access at Google, or write to admin@ulyx.in to have your account deleted. We may terminate access for breach of these terms. Sections 7 and 10 to 13 survive.

13. Governing law

Governed by the laws of India; the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law where you live gives you the right to sue locally.
